About Us

The Hickory Stick Ice Cream & More is an ice cream parlor housed in a historic one-room schoolhouse, formerly known as Gehman School until the 1950s. Here, you can relive the charm of old school days while enjoying your favorite frozen delights. It's the perfect spot for a hot day treat or for indulging in desserts like Coffee, Latte, and Breakfast Sandwiches.

At Hickory Stick, our commitment to the community and to offering super-premium ice cream drives us. We strive to create a family-friendly atmosphere where lasting memories are made.

Our dedication to super-premium ice cream and community care distinguishes us... we're excited to serve you.

Gehman's School House has a rich history, having housed the Pierce Free Library for many years. It later became an antique store and then Schoolhouse Candies. In 2013, it transformed into The Hickory Stick Ice Cream, which is now a beloved ice cream destination in Upper Bucks County.
